Celebrating Every Milestone

At The Arms of Jesus, we believe every educational milestone is worth celebrating.

Many of our students are the first in their families to complete key stages of their education. Because of this, we hold special graduation ceremonies to recognize their hard work, perseverance, and achievements.

Each year, we celebrate students as they complete:

Senior Kindergarten

Grade 6

Grade 9

Grade 12

These ceremonies are joyful occasions attended by families, sponsors, staff, and community members. Students receive certificates, recognition, and encouragement as they prepare for the next stage of their educational journey.

While a Senior Kindergarten or Grade 6 graduation may seem like a small achievement to some, for many AOJ families these milestones represent significant accomplishments and important steps toward a brighter future.

We believe every child deserves to be celebrated, encouraged, and reminded that their hard work matters.

Beyond the Classroom

Reaching Families, Strengthening Communities, Sharing Christ

At The Arms of Jesus, our ministry extends far beyond the walls of the classroom. While Christian education is at the heart of what we do, we recognize that many families face challenges that cannot be solved through education alone. Through practical outreach, local church partnerships, and the faithful support of sponsors and mission teams, we seek to demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ in tangible ways throughout the communities we serve.

Whether building a home for a family in need, distributing food, providing shoes to children, or sharing the Gospel through community outreach, our goal remains the same—to point people to the hope found in Jesus Christ.

Home Construction

Every year, AOJ works alongside mission teams, local churches, and generous donors to construct homes for families living in unsafe or inadequate conditions.

For many families, receiving a new home means protection from the elements, improved health, greater security, and a renewed sense of hope. Each home is dedicated in prayer and serves as a visible reminder of God's love and provision.

Food Assistance & Family Support

Many families in our communities struggle with food insecurity and economic hardship. Throughout the year, AOJ provides food distributions, emergency assistance, and practical support to families facing difficult circumstances. These initiatives not only help meet immediate needs but also create opportunities to build relationships, offer encouragement, and share the Gospel.

From monthly support programs to large community distributions, we seek to care for both children and their families.

Shoes, Clothing & Essential Needs

For many children, a new pair of shoes is more than a gift—it is something they may not otherwise receive. Through sponsorship, special projects, and mission team initiatives, AOJ regularly distributes shoes, clothing, school supplies, hygiene items, and other essential resources to children and families in need.

These programs help remove barriers that prevent children from attending school and remind families that they are loved and valued.

Evangelism & Community Ministry

Everything we do is rooted in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Through home visits, church partnerships, children's programs, family outreach events, mission teams, Bible distributions, worship services, and personal discipleship, we seek to share the hope of Christ with those we serve. While practical assistance opens doors, the Gospel remains our greatest message. Our desire is not simply to improve lives for today, but to introduce people to the eternal hope found in Jesus Christ.
