Our Logo: A Story of the Mission
Since its founding in 1990, The Arms of Jesus Children's Mission has used symbols that reflect the heart of its ministry and the vision God gave to Founder Pastor Sam Martin.
The Original Logo (1990)
The Mission's original logo depicted children gathered around Jesus. Inspired by Pastor Sam's vision of children running into the arms of Christ, the logo reflected the ministry's foundational belief that every child deserves to experience the love, care, and hope found in Jesus. For more than three decades, this image has served as a visual reminder of the Mission's purpose: bringing children into the safety and compassion of the Saviour's embrace.
And He took the children in His arms, placed His hands on them and blessed them."

Today, the original logo continues to hold a special place in the life of the Mission. It serves as the backdrop of our chapel in Guatemala and remains prominently displayed in our Canadian office in Pickering, Ontario—a reminder of the vision upon which the ministry was founded.
The Modern Logo
As the ministry grew, a new logo was introduced to reflect the expanding scope of the Mission while preserving its original vision.
The cross at the centre reminds us that Jesus Christ remains the foundation of everything we do. The church-shaped roof represents our commitment to Christ-centred ministry and partnership with local churches. The children gathered beneath symbolize the thousands of young lives that have been impacted through sponsorship, Christian education, community outreach, and the Gospel.
While the appearance of the logo has evolved, the mission has not.
Both logos tell the same story: children finding hope, belonging, and the love of Christ through Jesus Christ.
The original logo reminds us of where we began. The modern logo represents the ministry as it continues today. Together, they serve as a testimony to God's faithfulness and the enduring vision that has guided The Arms of Jesus Children's Mission since 1990.
