Shirley

Shirley is a beautiful and active girl. Praise the Lord, she is in good health. She is currently in senior kindergarten at AOJ School. She loves spending time with her classmates and running during recess. She admires her teacher and strives to learn new things every day. At home, she enjoys playing with dolls.

By God’s grace, her parents and sisters are also in good health. They are a lovely, humble, and supportive family. Her father, Mr. José, is 39 years old and works as a construction worker’s assistant. Her mother, Mrs. Albertina, is also 39 years old and works hard from early morning to run a small shop selling everyday items, helping to support the family financially. In Guatemala, basic needs are very expensive, and most of the time, the family does not have enough money to cover all their needs, that is why Mrs. Albertina helps her husband. Her sisters are Elida is 20 years old, and Adaly who is 15 years old. They are studying.

The house they live in belongs to the family and has two rooms and a small kitchen made of concrete blocks. Inside, they have three beds, a wardrobe, a gas stove, and a table with six chairs. They also have running water and electricity.
