Maybelin

Maybelin is a cheerful, creative, and determined young girl who is currently in Grade 5 at the Arms of Jesus School in Guatemala.

Maybelin has faced challenges in her education over the years, but she continues to show perseverance and a desire to learn. School has not always come easily for her, yet she works hard to complete her assignments and has made encouraging progress in her studies. She is excited to continue learning alongside her classmates and hopes to successfully complete the 2026 school year.

At home, Maybelin enjoys spending time with her family and helping her mother with household chores. She is even learning how to cook so that she can help care for her younger sisters, Britany and Alison. She is growing into a thoughtful and responsible young girl who cares deeply for her family.

Maybelin lives with her mother, Mrs. Dora, and her sisters. Her mother works part-time cleaning houses to provide for the family while dedicating her afternoons to caring for her daughters. Maybelin's father, Mr. Héctor, has recently made an effort to become more present in the lives of his daughters, visiting them more frequently and helping with some household expenses. This has been an encouraging development for the family.

Through the ministry of Arms of Jesus, Maybelin is surrounded by people who care for her, pray for her, and want to see her reach the potential God has given her. Our Social Work Team continues to walk alongside Maybelin and her family, encouraging them through life's challenges and praying for greater love, unity, and stability in their home.
