Marcos
Marcos has expressive eyes and a gentle, calm personality. Although he is shy when meeting new people, he gradually becomes more confident and warmly connects with those around him. He is an intelligent young boy who loves spending time with his family, especially his mother, with whom he shares a very special bond. His respectful nature and kind heart make him a joy to everyone who knows him.
Marcos lives with his parents, who work hard to provide for his needs and give him every opportunity to thrive. His father, José, is 20 years old and works as a minibus driver, helping to support the household. His mother, Mari, is 23 years old and earns additional income by selling shaved ice and creating traditional handmade crafts. Together, they work diligently to build a brighter future for their son.
The family currently lives in a home generously lent to them by Marcos's grandmother. While the house is modest, it provides them with a safe place to live. They share many of the household furnishings with his grandmother. Their kitchen has three plastic stools, and their bedroom contains a bed and a wardrobe. Though their resources are limited, the family remains close, resilient, and full of hope.
Marcos's parents dream of seeing him attend the AOJ school, where they believe he will have the opportunity to develop his God-given abilities, continue learning, and grow into the person the Lord has created him to be. They are grateful for the opportunities that sponsorship can provide as they look forward to a brighter future for their son.
