Adeline

Adeline is a 10-year-old girl who lives in the community of Cap Rouge, near Jacmel in southeastern Haiti. She is currently in Grade 4 and is a hardworking student who performs very well in school. Adeline is a healthy, joyful child who is full of life. In her free time, she enjoys playing with her sister, reflecting the close bond she shares with her family.

Adeline lives with her parents, Paul and Yvrose, who are both farmers. Through their hard work cultivating the land, they do everything they can to provide for their three children. The family lives in a modest stone home with a tin roof. Their house has only two rooms and is simply furnished with a table, chairs, a bed, and a storage cabinet.

Like many families in rural Haiti, Adeline's family faces significant financial hardship. Despite working diligently, her parents struggle to provide enough food and meet the daily needs of their children. The family relies on cisterns for their water supply and uses firewood for cooking.

Sponsorship will provide Adeline with the opportunity to continue her education while helping meet her physical and spiritual needs through the Arms of Jesus. It will also bring much-needed encouragement to her parents as they work tirelessly to care for their family.
