Parramos, Guatemala

Yasmin is a beautiful little girl who has big eyes and a lovely smile. She is loving, friendly, smart, and sometimes a bit hyperactive and also very curious. She is always showing interest in learning about everything around her. She feels very happy and excited to know that she will soon begin her school adventure this year. She says she wants to meet many friends and enjoy recess time together. Yasmin loves going to the park on Sundays because she enjoys playing in the playground. Her favourite food is fried chicken and potatoes, and she also has fun playing hide-and-seek and colouring. Her parents are Mr. Melvin Josué Ramírez, who is 36 years old and owns a car oil business, and Mrs. Yoselin Yasmin Godoy, who is 31 years old; she feels blessed to be working as a teacher at the AOJ school, since she is always trying to support her husband financially.

The family lives in a house made with blocks that someone has lent them. They have access to running water and electricity services. For cooking, they use propane gas. Most of the time, the salaries in Guatemala are not enough to cover all the expenses, and that is why they both have decided to work in order to provide for little Yasmin. They say it would be a huge blessing for little Yasmin to attend the AOJ School, where they feel it is a safe place.

Would you be the angel in Yasmine's life?
