María is growing up healthily. She is a beautiful, happy, obedient, loving, and smart girl; one of the things she loves to do is playing with dolls. María feels very blessed to study at the AOJ School. This year she is in senior kindergarten and feels very excited because this year they are starting to practice reading, and she is doing her best in order to learn to read very quickly.

María's parents are Mr. Roni Orlando, who is 36 years old and works per day on a vegetable farm, always trusting to provide what is needed for his family, and Mrs. Azucena, who is 33 years old, and she is the one who takes care of the household chores. María's siblings are Roni Emanuel, who is 10 years old and is in grade 4 at AOJ school; Jenifer Azucena, who is 8 years old and is in grade 2 at the AOJ school; and little Vanesa, who is 8 months old and thank God, is growing up healthily.

The family lives in a house donated by the AOJ Mission and also has a small block room. They also have running water and electricity, and for cooking, they use firewood.
