Parramos, Guatemala

Eddy Nehemías is a friendly, humble, and kind young man who has a good attitude and is respectful with the people. He is helpful at home, supporting with daily chores and being responsible with his activities. He enjoys spending time with his siblings, Daylin and Jostin, and gets along well with them. Regarding the academics, he is currently in 10th grade in administration at the AOJ school, and his favourite class is economics, showing commitment to continue learning and improving academically.

His parents support him and strive to provide him with what he needs. His father, Mr. Manuel de Jesús, is 39 years old and works as a mason in Parramos; meanwhile, his mother, Mrs. Ana Azucena, who is 35 years old, takes care of the household chores and also works on a vegetable farm, thus contributing to the family economy. Both parents are hardworking and always look after their children.

The family has its own home. The house has one room that was donated by the AOJ Mission, and another was built with blocks and pieces of wood. In their kitchen, they have a provisional stove where they use firewood for cooking their food; they also have a cupboard, a table, and six chairs. As for their furniture, they have four beds and four wardrobes. Despite the struggles, the family strives to have the basic things at home and a safe place for the whole family.

Eddy is truly grateful since, thanks to the Arms of Jesus, he will be able to continue attending school and reach one of his academic goals!

Would you be the angel in Eddy's life?
