Marie Renitte is a young woman who lives in Cap Rouge, communal section of Cayes Jacmel, the South East of Haiti. She was born on March 24, 2006, she is 19. She goes to school and is in secondary class. She does well in school and always passes. In her free time, she plays cards and listens to music. She is often sick.

Her father’s name is Raphael Janvier and her mother is Jeannette Francois. Both of them used to work and they have two children. She lives with her grandmother.

Marie Renitte lives in a house made of stone, with sheet metal roof. It has two rooms. They have furniture such as a table, a cupboard, a bed, a buffet, and chairs.

Marie Renitte is living in a difficult situation where her parents struggle to meet their various needs. Her parents are farmers, and when there is no rain, their crops fail. They face many problems, which makes it hard for them to take care of the family. They have to walk long distances to get water because the cisterns are not working, and they use wood to cook.

Because of all these challenges, we can say that Marie Renitte needs help, to support her education and to assist her parents in meeting their basic needs.
