Mara Emmanuella is a young girl born on September 21, 2018, in Delmas, the capital of Port-au-Prince, located in the West department of Haiti ans she is 7. Her father is Emmanuel Beaussicot and her mother is Frantzcise Toussaint. Both parents work in farming. They have two children, and the family lives in Cap Rouge.

Mara goes to school; she is in 1st grade and performs well. She is always healthy and enjoys playing during her free time. She lives with her mother and father in a house made of concrete blocks with two rooms. Inside the house, they have a table, chairs, and a bed.

The children live in a difficult situation. Her parents struggle to meet their children's needs. The country is facing hard times, and because rain doesn’t fall often, their farming doesn’t produce enough. This makes it hard for them to support their children. They collect water from a cistern and use wood to cook.

We can say that Mara Emmanuella needs help, both to support and to assist her parents in meeting the needs of their children.
