Jean Gerard is a young boy born on January 19, 2021, in Cap Rouge communal section of Cayes Jacmel, the south East of Haiti, he is 4. He is a healthy child. He attends school in preschool level 2 and enjoys preschool activities. In his free time, he plays with his friends.

Jean Gerard’s father is named Jacques Gesnel Jean Baptiste, and his mother is Lonna Milien. Both parents work in agriculture, and they have three children. Jean Gerard lives with his mother and father in a house made of stone, covered with tin sheets, and it has two rooms. As for furnishings, they have a bed, chairs, and a table.

Given the country’s situation, there is no stable employment, and Jean Gerard’s parents rely on farming to care for their children. Sometimes there is no rain, which leads to poor harvests, making it difficult for the parents to meet their children’s needs. As a result, they live in great hardship. They collect water from a cistern and use wood for cooking.
