Elisabeth is a young girl living in Cap Rouge communal section of Cayes Jacmel, the south East of Haiti.. She was born on April 12, 2014, she is 11. Her mother, Gerline Avril, and her father, Gaston Dubreuse, have two children, and they all live in Cap Rouge.

Elisabeth is in first grade, but she struggles in school. She enjoys playing with her friends. She lives with her mother in a wooden house covered with metal sheets, built with stone. They have a few household items, such as a bed, table, and chairs.

Elisabeth has a disability, which makes life challenging for her, and she is not in good health. Her mother does not receive any support from others and lacks assistance from Elisabeth's father, making their living conditions extremely difficult. Her mother relies solely on farming to take care of the children and the family.

They use rainwater, and when it doesn’t rain, they go to a source to collect water. They do not have the means to buy propane gas and cook using firewood.

Elisabeth’s mother has two children and must provide them with food every day. Due to the country’s situation, she cannot find work, which is why she hopes to receive some assistance to support her family’s needs
