Cap-Rouge, Haiti

Carlos Ricardo Boyer was born on June 25, 2014, in the area of Cap Rouge, communal section of Cayes Jacmel, the South East of Haiti. He is currently 11 years old and will turn 12 this coming June. He is the son of Samson Boyer, his father and Thérèse Jules his mother, both of whom work as farmers to provide for the household. Carlos lives with both his mother and father in a family of six children, which places a heavy financial burden on his parents.

The family lives in a house built of blocks with a tin roof located in Cap Rouge. The home consists of two rooms and is furnished with only the basics : a bed, chairs, a table, and a cupboard. They rely on a cistern for their water supply and use firewood as their primary fuel for cooking. Despite these humble living conditions, Carlos is in good health. During his free time, he enjoys playing football, and he is a very intelligent student currently in the 6th grade, where he performs exceptionally well.

However, Carlos is growing up in a very challenging environment. His parents struggle immensely to meet his needs, finding themselves in a difficult situation where they lack the means to support six children. Providing daily meals and paying for school fees has become a constant struggle.

For these reasons, Carlos is in urgent need of additional support to continue his studies. Despite these hardships, he possesses a strong determination to succeed in life.

Would you be the angel in Carlos's life?
