Bianca Guetshina Benoit is a 11 years old girl living in the area of Cap Rouge, communal section of Jacmel, the south East of Haiti. She is a child who remains in good health and demonstrates great academic potential as she performs exceptionally well in school. Bianca is recognized as a truly brilliant student, showing a strong desire to learn despite the life challenges she faces.

Her father’s name is Eddy Benoit and her mother’s name is Jesula Magloire. Both of her parents are farmers who work the land to provide for their 2 children. Bianca’s situation is unique because she lives with her grandmother. This grandmother is struggling significantly to provide for her, but it is an extremely difficult battle due to her very limited financial resources.

The house where Bianca lives is built of stone with a tin roof. It contains 3 rooms, but the interior is very modest as they only own a table, chairs, a bed, and a bench. Her grandmother faces major difficulties caring for the 2 children because they depend entirely on their gardens, which unfortunately do not produce a sufficient yield. To access water they must retrieve it from cisterns and they rely on wood as their only fuel for cooking.

Bianca urgently needs support to improve her living conditions.This assistance will provide much needed relief for her and her hardworking grandmother, ensuring that Bianca can use her intelligence to excel and build a much brighter future.
