AOJ: Ministry began in 1991

On the outskirts of Santo Domingo, hundreds of families live in abject poverty. A beautiful Christian lady wanting to help the children started the ministry. She wanted to start a feeding center and school. In order to fund this, she approached her local church, but was turned down. This caused one of her children to turn away from God & church. Determined by her faith, she continued to do what God called her to do and trusted the Lord to provide the funds.

In 1991, we were introduced to the work and felt led to provide the support needed that would enable the operation of a school / feeding center(seen on the left). This was done by inviting people to become "feeding partners", or sponsors and as a result, some 2400 children per week receive meals and a good education. When funds are available we also supply clothing, medicine and items such as stoves and fridges. With your help, so many more can be reached.
